The foundation of my practice combines the physical with a somatic or observing the body from within approach, inner emotional and spiritual journey. By integrating body, breath, movement and meditative awareness, I strive to promote an understanding of emotions, really feeling my emotions and how to detox them using the breath and trauma release. I have a lot of deeply held emotions as well as traumas and have gone through a lot of release through my yoga and meditation practices, taking a “less is more” approach allows my body, mind and life to be softer and less tense. Helping me to stay more present in the breath and life around me and this is why I choose release work, breathwork, meditation and yoga asana as my practices.
Over the last 28 years I have been studying the fascia system, trauma release, emotional release, breathwork and study many forms of yoga that I love to share. I have been teaching for 16 years and use this knowledge to weave into a class that is energetic, grounding and healing. My dharma is for you to walk away with knowledge that will empower you in your own yoga practice and life.
My inspiration comes from teachers like Dharma Mittra, Rod Stryker, Noah Maze, BKS Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, Thomas Meyers, Sarah Powers and SN Goenka (Vipassana Meditation) to name a few. This knowledge is powerful, unique and I strive to pass on this inspiration with methods that are clear and safe. I have been studying/teaching Transformational Breathwork for 6 years and I have developed a style that pulls inspiration from many different breathwork and yoga practices. I love showing this gift of ease in the breath system to everyone. I love myself by enjoying the benefits of meditation and self practice. I hope this love is passed on so people can live with more peace, harmony, awareness and joy, feeling less suffering.
I offer teacher trainings, workshops, retreats and personalized service through mentor programs and transformation through breathwork.
I hope to see you soon.
